Over the years I have built stone spirals in many parts of Italy and the world, together with several fellow travelers. Each spiral was born as a shared gesture-simple and sacred at the same time-the result of listening, presence and collaboration.
Stone spirals are important places to create on the planet, as they reproduce one of the fundamental forms of the universe. The spiral is a primordial geometry found in nature, in the movement of galaxies, in shells and in our DNA. To walk it is to enter into relationship with subtle geometries and the immense network of interconnected energies that sustains life.
At Damanhur we consider spirals essential tools for the evolutionary journey of the individual and the human species. When specifically activated, they connect to the planet’s synchronic lines: energy pathways that carry life, information and consciousness from Earth to the Universe and from the Universe to Earth.
Stone spirals are living, conscious forms that converse with those who create them and those who pass through them. In their subtle actions they generate places of power that, when activated and kept alive with intention by individuals or groups, become thresholds: meeting points between the visible and the invisible, between human consciousness and the universal breath of life.
